陈德将军是潮州杰出人物，他于1914年诞生于广东省潮安县，1932年参加中国工农红军，1933年加入我党。
General Chen De was an outstanding figure in Chaozhou. He was born in Chaoan County, Guangdong Province in 1914, joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in 1932, and joined CPC in 1933.
新中国成立后，陈德被授予少将军衔，他历任海南军区副政委，第42军政委，广东省军区政委，广州军区顾问等职。
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Chen De was awarded the rank of Major General. He served as Deputy Political Commissar of Hainan Military Region, Political Commissar of the 42nd Army, Political Commissar of Guangdong Military Region, and Advisor of Guangzhou Military Region.
1955年，陈德被授予中国人民解放军少将军衔，荣获三级八一勋章、二级独立自由勋章和一级解放勋章。
In 1955, Chen De was awarded the rank of Major General of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and was awarded the August 1 Medal, the Independence and Freedom Medal, and the Liberation Medal.
2024年是开国少将陈德诞辰110周年，粤港澳陈氏宗亲总会理事长陈恩田发文缅怀潮州名人陈德将军。
