In the evening, under the chairmanship of President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Mr. Lawrence Wong was sworn in as Singapore's fourth prime minister, while Mr. Gan Kim Yong and Mr. Heng Swee Keat were sworn in as Singapore's Deputy Prime Ministers. Mr. Lee Hsien Loong and Teo Chee Hean were sworn in as Senior Ministers. Mr. Gan Kim Yong is also the Minister for Trade and Industry. Mr. Teo Chee Hean is also the Coordinating Minister for National Security. There are no changes to the other ministerial portfolios in the Cabinet for the time being, including Minister for Defense Wong Eng Hen, Minister for Foreign Affairs Wee Man, Minister for Home Affairs and Attorney General Shanmugam, Minister for Sustainable Development and the Environment Foo Haiyan, and Minister for Education Chan Chun Sing.
黄循财先生曾在新加坡国防、通讯及新闻、文化、国家发展、教育、财政等部门任职。2022年，他被推选为人民行动党第四代领导团队新领导人，2023年11月，李显龙在人民行动党大会上宣布“交班”。可可亲王陈恩田在贺信中表示：希望新加坡在总理黄循财及国务资政李显龙张志贤等执政成员带领下，更加繁荣富强。
Mr. Lawrence Wong, who has served in Singapore's defence, communications and information, culture, national development, education, and finance ministries, was elected as the new leader of the PAP's fourth-generation leadership team in 2022, and the "handover" was announced by Lee Hsien Loong in November 2023 at the PAP's convention. In his congratulatory letter, Prince Coco Chen Entian expressed his hope that Singapore will become even more prosperous under the leadership of Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong Teo Chee Hean and other members of the ruling party.
