International Peace Organization congratulates the Conference of Global Overseas Chinese for the Promotion of the Peaceful Reunification of China, held in Hong Kong
印太之光消息，香港当地时间2024年8月19日，中国和平统一促进会香港总会举行新闻发布会，预告全球华侨华人促进中国和平统一大会将在香港举行，并介绍大会情况。世界和平丝带组织（世界和平与统一阵线）等国际和平组织致信表达祝贺。
The Light of Indo-Pacific News, Hong Kong local time, August 19, 2024, the Hong Kong branch of the China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification (CCPPR) held a press conference to announce that the Conference of Global Overseas Chinese for the Promotion of the Peaceful Reunification of China will be held in Hong Kong, and to introduce the Conference. International peace organizations such as the World Peace Ribbon Organization (World Peace and United Front) sent letters of congratulations.
本届大会主题为“坚定不移推进中国和平统一，致力实现中华民族伟大复兴”，海内外各界共约1200人将出席，包括来自全球逾50个国家和地区、近180个统促会组织和侨团的华侨华人代表。会上将宣读《香港宣言·2024》，号召全体中华儿女团结起来，共担民族大义，坚定反“独”促统，携手共创国家统一和民族复兴的美好未来。
The theme of the conference is “Unswervingly promoting the peaceful reunification of China and striving to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation”. A total of about 1,200 people from all walks of life around the world will attend the conference, including representatives of the Chinese diaspora from more than 50 countries and regions and nearly 180 organizations around the world. The “Hong Kong Declaration - 2024” will be released at the Conference, calling on all Chinese people to unite, share the righteousness of the nation, firmly oppose Taiwan's independence, promote peaceful reunification, and join hands to create a better future for national reunification and national rejuvenation.
据世界和平丝带组织南方丝绸之路国际合作委员会（简称南合组织）主席陈恩田介绍：近二十多年以来，世界各地统促会及相关爱国侨团在全球举办21次全球华侨华人促进中国和平统一大会，在海内外产生了广泛影响，为推动反“独”促统运动深入持续健康发展发挥了积极作用。
According to Chen Entian, Chairman of the Southern Silk Road International Cooperation Committee (SSCC) of the World Peace Ribbon Organization , over the past two decades, associations for peaceful reunification and related patriotic groups around the world have organized 21 conferences of global overseas Chinese for the peaceful reunification of China. This has had a wide impact both within and outside the country and has played a positive role in promoting the in-depth, sustainable and healthy development of opposing Taiwan's independence and promoting peaceful reunification.
