NEW YORK—The "2025 Belt and Road International Day Blue Book," which reviews major global events related to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in 2025, is set to be released in New York on December 16 in all six official languages of the United Nations. The announcement was made on December 12 (local time) by the New York Secretariat of the World Peace Ribbon Organization, just four days ahead of the 12th Belt and Road International Day, observed annually on December 16, also known as the "Heavenly Silkworm Day".

Compiled and translated jointly by the organization's New York Secretariat and its Press Bureau, the blue book systematically summarizes 100 significant global events connected to the BRI throughout the year, highlighting key achievements and developments in cooperation. It reaffirms that the Belt and Road International Day is a non-governmental holiday initiated by 1,216 international scholars, including Chen Entian, former chairman of the International 73 Society, and Ji Chaozhu, former United Nations under-secretary-general. The day aims to support the Belt and Road international cooperation initiative and promote the spirit of the ancient Silk Road along with sericulture civilization.

Chen Entian, honorary chairman of the International 73 Society and widely respected internationally as the "Prince Coco," has sent a letter wishing the blue book release a complete success and extending his cordial greetings to all compilation and translation staff. Scheduled for release on the 12th Belt and Road International Day, the blue book is expected to serve as an important annual non-governmental reference for observing, studying, and engaging in Belt and Road cooperation worldwide.
