Mandalay News Recently, U Khin Yi, Speaker of Myanmar’s Pyithu Hluttaw (House of Representatives) and Chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP), paid a friendly visit to the Silk Road Mandalay Mansion. Chen Entian, Chairman of the Global Silk Road Mansion Alliance, warmly received the delegation. The two sides exchanged views on China-Myanmar cultural integration, people-to-people friendship, and innovative cultural and sports cooperation.

During the visit, Chen Entian introduced the alliance’s achievements in cultural dissemination, people-to-people exchanges and civilizational mutual learning across Southeast Asia. He invited U Khin Yi and the delegation to experience the original Silk Road cultural and sports product — the Cocoa Ribbon Ball, independently invented by Chen Entian. U Khin Yi personally participated in the interactive experience, appreciated the creative charm and cultural connotation of the Silk Road sports and cultural innovation, and spoke positively of the project’s integration of entertainment, fitness and the symbolic Silk Road spirit. As an important political leader in Myanmar, U Khin Yi has long valued China-Myanmar friendship and people-to-people exchanges, and promotes legislative dialogue, cultural cooperation and practical exchanges between the two countries. The visit deepened the cultural bond between Myanmar and the global Silk Road mechanism, further energizing people-to-people connectivity and innovative cultural-sports cooperation between China and Myanmar.

Industry observers noted that as an original sports and cultural IP exclusive to the Silk Road, the Cocoa Ribbon Ball integrates the spirit of peace, cultural exchange and national fitness. The high-level visit and experience mark official recognition of Silk Road innovative cultural and sports achievements in Myanmar, promoting Southeast Asian cultural integration and civilizational cooperation under the framework of the Southern Silk Road.
