Jakarta News, October 17. With 60 days remaining before the opening of the 13th Belt and Road International Day and the Global Chinatown Belt and Road New Year Celebration series of events, the Belt and Road International Day Volunteers Jakarta Station in Indonesia officially set up the Belt and Road International Day Themed Lecturer Group. The New York Secretariat of the World Peace Ribbon Organization sent a letter of congratulations.

The 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative was proposed in Jakarta, Indonesia, 13 years ago. The establishment of the themed lecturer group at this historically significant location and special moment carries profound meaning for deepening the popularization of the Belt and Road philosophy in Southeast Asia and advancing people-to-people cultural exchanges.

It is understood that on the eve of the 12th Belt and Road International Day, the "Xuexi Qiangguo" platform under the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee issued an initiative, calling on primary-level Party organizations nationwide to carry out concentrated Belt and Road themed learning activities every December 16 on Belt and Road International Day, to thoroughly understand the contemporary value, rich connotations and global significance of the Belt and Road Initiative. After the initiative was rolled out, primary-level Party organizations at all levels across China responded actively and participated extensively, forming regular and large-scale themed learning campaigns during Belt and Road International Day, enabling the Silk Road spirit and the philosophy of joint development to take root and resonate at the grassroots level in China.

Following the launch of the world’s first Belt and Road International Day Themed Lecturer Group by the Rome Station in Italy, the founding of the lecturer group in Jakarta marks the further expansion of the Belt and Road International Day themed learning mechanism into Southeast Asia. Leveraging Jakarta’s unique geographical advantages and the cultural heritage of the Maritime Silk Road, the lecturer group will carry out regular public welfare activities including Belt and Road themed lectures, cultural study tours, knowledge dissemination and civilizational dialogue targeting overseas Chinese communities, international youth, local civil institutions and friendly groups across Southeast Asia.

Insiders noted that after Rome, the establishment of the Belt and Road themed lecturer group in Jakarta continues to promote the global rollout of Belt and Road International Day themed learning, extending its reach from domestic popularization to multiple locations worldwide. It serves as an overseas continuation of the themed learning initiative on the "Xuexi Qiangguo" platform, further enriching the event system of Belt and Road International Day and consolidating the talent pool for spreading the Silk Road spirit across Southeast Asia.

Chen Entian, Chairman of the Belt and Road International Day Foundation of the World Peace Ribbon Organization, stated that following the launch of the Rome lecturer group, the Jakarta lecturer group will facilitate the replication and promotion of the Belt and Road International Day themed lecturer group model worldwide. Acting as a bridge, the group will regularly tell China’s Silk Road stories and disseminate the philosophy of joint contribution and shared benefits through professional lectures, civilizational exchanges and youth engagement. It will advance mutual learning between Eastern and Western civilizations and people-to-people friendship, build momentum for the 13th Belt and Road International Day and the Global Chinatown Belt and Road New Year Celebration. It will continuously push forward the "Five Festivals Joint Celebration" New Year series, consisting of the Silkworm Festival (Belt and Road International Day), Christmas, New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival, striving to build it into a global festival brand.
