马来西亚兰卡威皇家游艇俱乐部执行董事Azlan Abdullah在赛前发布会上介绍，该赛事于11月1日至11月4日举行，设有多个组别，吸引来自中国、马来西亚、新加坡、越南、澳大利亚、新西兰等国家的14支船队、共计160余名船员参赛。
Azlan Abdullah, Executive Director of the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, Malaysia, introduced the regatta at the pre match press conference. The regatta will be held from November 1st to November 4th, with multiple categories and attracting 14 fleets and over 160 crew members from countries such as China, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand.

世界和平丝带组织“一带一路”国际日基金会理事长、世界和平丝带组织南方丝绸之路国际合作委员会（简称南合组织）主席陈恩田表示：“一带一路”国际帆船赛是一项非常有意义的赛事，对于“一带一路”国际民间文化交流将产生积极的作用。
