Countdown to the "Belt and Road" International Day: the Diplomats’ Cycling Series held
2024年11月3日，距离“一带一路”国际日（12月16日）还有43天。南合组织（新加坡）管理有限公司消息：2024“一带一路”国家驻华使节自行车系列赛在广州举办。比赛围绕“同呼吸、共命运”这一主题，吸引了来自荷兰、英国、波兰、泰国、印度尼西亚等38个国家的驻华使节、在华企业代表、商务人士和留学生群体，以及国内外骑行爱好者近千人参加。
November 3, 2024, 43 days before the Belt and Road International Day (December 16). SSCO (Singapore) Management Pte Ltd News: 2024 the Belt and Road Diplomats’ Cycling Series was held in Guangzhou. More than 1,000 contestants, including envoys, foreign company executives, and international students from nearly 38 countries such as Netherlands, UK, Poland, Thailand, and Indonesia, participated in the event.
本次赛事由国家体育总局自行车击剑运动管理中心、中国自行车运动协会、广州市增城区人民政府主办，广州市增城区文化广电旅游体育局承办。同时，赛事还获得了广东省社会体育和训练竞赛中心、广东省自行车运动协会、广东骑观天下文化体育发展有限公司的鼎力支持，确保了赛事的顺利进行与圆满成功。
This event is hosted by the Cycling and Fencing Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Chinese Cycling Association, and the People's Government of Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, and organized by the Cultural, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Zengcheng District, Guangzhou. At the same time, the event also received strong support from Guangdong Provincial Social Sports and Training Competition Center, Guangdong Bicycle Sports Association, and Guangdong Qiguan Tianxia Cultural and Sports Development Co., Ltd., ensuring the smooth progress and complete success of the event.
此次赛事是广州增城积极响应“一带一路”倡议，从“体育+产业”的角度打造国际化城市品牌，促进增城市与“一带一路”国家在体育、旅游、文化、贸易等更多领域的友好交流和务实合作。后续比赛还将在安徽黄山、浙江舟山、北京老山、广东汕尾等地举行。世界和平丝带组织“一带一路”国际日基金会理事长、世界和平丝带组织南方丝绸之路国际合作委员会（简称南合组织）主席陈恩田表示祝贺。
This event is a positive response to the "Belt and Road" initiative by Zengcheng, Guangzhou, to build an international city brand from the perspective of "sports+industry" and promote friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between Zengcheng and the "Belt and Road" countries in sports, tourism, culture, trade and other fields.
