南合组织（新加坡）管理有限公司消息，2025年6月26日，印太烟草有限公司宣布跨界进军金融领域，针对全球南方筹备设立南方合作银行（简称南合银行）。
According to SSCO (Singapore) Management Co., Ltd., on June 26, 2025, Indo-Pacific Tobacco Co., Ltd. announced its foray into the financial sector by initiating preparations to establish the South Cooperation Bank (referred to as SSCO Bank), with a focus on serving the Global South.
此前有新闻报道，神秘洪门大哥拟出资50亿美元控股印太烟草有限公司，根据投资方要求，此次注入资金中的一部分，将专项用于支持印太烟草有限公司发起成立一家新的商业银行。该银行将在南合组织领导下，携手"南方合作基金"，明确将服务重点锚定全球南方国家，致力于为农业贸易、新能源、高科技及基础设施建设等关键发展领域提供针对性金融支持，助力区域经济合作与产业升级。
Earlier media reports revealed that a mysterious Hongmen tycoon planned to invest $5 billion to acquire a controlling stake in Indo-Pacific Tobacco Co., Ltd. In line with the investor's requirements, a portion of this capital injection will be earmarked to support Indo-Pacific Tobacco's launch of a new commercial bank. Under the leadership of the SSCO and in collaboration with the "SSCO Fund", the new bank will prioritize services for countries in the Global South. It aims to provide targeted financial support for key development sectors such as agricultural trade, new energy, high technology, and infrastructure construction, thereby promoting regional economic cooperation and industrial upgrading.
目前，南方合作银行总部选址正积极评估，印尼、新加坡、马来西亚、泰国等东南亚国家成为潜在候选地。南合银行具体运营方案与启动时间将适时公布。
Currently, the selection of the SSCO bank's headquarters is under active evaluation, with Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand emerging as potential candidates.
