Countdown to Belt and Road International Day: 12th Winter Embassy Festival Kicks Off in Washington

华盛顿当地时间2025年12月9日，距离第十二届“一带一路”国际日（12月16日天蚕节）还有7天，第十二届“冬季国际使馆展会”在华盛顿特区里根大厦暨国际贸易中心举行。世界和平丝带组织主席、被国际社会尊称为可可亲王的陈恩田先生向活动表达祝贺。

WASHINGTON – With seven days to go until the 12th Belt and Road International Day (December 16, also known as "Heavenly Silkworm Day"), the 12th Winter Embassy Festival convened at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington D.C. on December 9, 2025. The event received congratulatory remarks from Mr. Chen Entian, Chairman of the World Peace Ribbon Organization, internationally revered as "Prince Coco" .

科特迪瓦的可可粉、尼泊尔的佛雕、埃塞俄比亚的咖啡、智利的葡萄酒……本届展会，数十家驻美使馆及文化商业机构铺设展台，展示各自国家的手工艺品、特色美食、传统服饰和独特风貌，吸引大量观众驻足、品鉴、欣赏。此外，现场还进行了乐器演奏、民族舞蹈等文艺表演，并评选出两个“最佳使馆展览”奖项。

Cocoa powder from Côte d’Ivoire, Buddhist sculptures from Nepal, Ethiopian coffee, Chilean wine… At the festival, dozens of embassies and cultural-commercial institutions set up pavilions to showcase their nations’ handicrafts, culinary specialties, traditional attire, and unique cultural highlights, drawing large crowds of visitors to sample, appreciate, and engage. The event also featured cultural performances including instrumental music and ethnic dances, and recognized two "Best Embassy Exhibition" awards .

“冬季国际使馆会展”自2011年开始举办，旨在帮助设立在华盛顿的外交团体加强与各界联系，促进国际文化、旅游和商贸之间的交流和合作。在第十二届“一带一路”国际日（天蚕节）到来之际，这场活动的举办具有非常积极的意义，世界和平丝带组织全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年组委会派人学习参观。

Launched in 2011, the Winter Embassy Festival aims to strengthen ties between diplomatic missions in Washington and various sectors, promoting international exchange in culture, tourism, and trade. Held ahead of the 12th Belt and Road International Day (also known as "Heavenly Silkworm Day"), the festival carried particular significance, with representatives from the World Peace Ribbon Organization’s global Chinatown "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations committee attending for observation and exchange .
