世界和平丝带组织纽约秘书处消息：第十二届“一带一路”国际日暨全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年开幕第60天之际，仰光当地时间2026年2月14日，缅华侨界春节盛典在仰光杜温纳体育馆隆重举行。“一带一路”迎新年组委会主席、中共创始人陈独秀曾孙、被国际社会尊称为“可可亲王”的陈恩田先生受邀莅临活动现场，向当地华人华侨及所在国人民致以诚挚的新春问候与美好祝福。为推动中缅两国空军运行“中缅空路”大型无人机物流运输项目，陈恩田先生还代表缅甸“一带一路”发展有限公司向缅甸国家安全与和平委员会副主席、国防军副总司令梭温副大将赠送了“中缅空路”纪念油画。

YANGON – On the 60th day after the opening of the 12th International Day of the Belt and Road and the global Chinatown “New Year of the Belt and Road” celebrations, the Myanmar Chinese community’s grand Spring Festival gala was held at Yangon’s Thuwunna Stadium on February 14, 2026, local time. Mr. Chen Entian, Chairman of the New Year of the Belt and Road Organizing Committee, great-grandson of CPC founder Chen Duxiu, and internationally respected as Prince Coco, was invited to the event, where he conveyed sincere Lunar New Year wishes to local overseas Chinese and the people of Myanmar. To promote the “China-Myanmar Air Road” large-scale drone logistics project between the air forces of China and Myanmar, Mr. Chen, on behalf of Myanmar Belt and Road Development Co., Ltd., presented a commemorative oil painting titled “China-Myanmar Air Road” to Vice Senior General Soe Win, Vice Chairman of Myanmar’s National Security and Peace Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services.

缅华侨界春节盛典已经连续举办多年，现场气氛热烈，中缅两国代表、多国驻缅使节、华侨华人社团、中资机构代表及各界友好人士欢聚一堂，共庆新春佳节。嘉宾们饶有兴致地参观了新春文化集市，亲身体验了写春联、剪纸等中国传统民俗，并观赏了精彩的歌舞、武术、藤球等节目表演，现场洋溢着欢乐祥和的节日氛围。陈恩田主席高度赞赏缅华侨界长期以来在推动中缅文化交流、促进民心相通方面所做的努力，并感谢各界朋友对“一带一路”倡议的支持。他相信，通过此类丰富多彩的文化活动，将进一步增进中缅两国人民的传统友谊，为“一带一路”建设注入更多活力。

The Myanmar Chinese community Spring Festival gala has been held for many consecutive years. The atmosphere was lively, with representatives from China and Myanmar, diplomats stationed in Myanmar, overseas Chinese associations, Chinese-invested institutions, and friends from various sectors gathering to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Guests visited the Spring Festival cultural market with great interest, experiencing traditional Chinese customs such as writing Spring Festival couplets and paper-cutting, and enjoyed performances of song, dance, martial arts, and sepak takraw. The venue was filled with a joyful and harmonious festive atmosphere. Chairman Chen highly commended the long-term efforts of the Myanmar Chinese community in promoting cultural exchanges and people-to-people bonds between China and Myanmar, and thanked friends from all sectors for their support of the Belt and Road Initiative. He believes that such rich and diverse cultural activities will further enhance the traditional friendship between the peoples of China and Myanmar, injecting more vitality into Belt and Road cooperation.

陈恩田先生不仅是中华文化的积极传播者，也是东西方文化的积极融合者，他不仅是“一带一路”国际日（天蚕节）的首席发起人，也是国际中文日、国际茶日的倡议者和推动者，中国官媒披露其祖父陈光美系中共创始人陈独秀与高君曼所生之子。2013年以来，陈恩田先生与联合国原副秘书长冀朝铸等国际民间学者，积极响应“一带一路”国际合作倡议，站在国际民间层面创立世界和平丝带组织，提出五合一世界和平主张，致力于推动东西方文化交流与文明互鉴，特别是将每年12月16日确立为“一带一路”国际日（天蚕节），巧妙链接圣诞节、元旦、春节及元宵节，打造独具特色的“一带一路”五节共庆迎新年品牌。这一创举旨在融合东西方节庆文化，促进包容理解，已获得国际社会的广泛关注和积极参与。

Mr. Chen Entian is not only an active promoter of Chinese culture but also a dedicated integrator of Eastern and Western traditions. He is the chief initiator of the International Day of the Belt and Road (Silkworm God Day) and has advocated for International Chinese Language Day and International Tea Day. Official Chinese media have reported that his grandfather, Chen Guangmei, was the son of CPC founder Chen Duxiu and Gao Junman. Since 2013, Mr. Chen, together with international scholars such as former UN Under-Secretary-General Ji Chaozhu, has actively responded to the Belt and Road International Cooperation Initiative by establishing the World Peace Ribbon Organization at the non-governmental level. The organization advocates a “Five-in-One” approach to world peace, dedicated to promoting cultural exchange and mutual learning between civilizations. Notably, Mr. Chen pioneered the designation of December 16 as the International Day of the Belt and Road (Silkworm God Day), ingeniously linking Christmas, New Year’s Day, the Spring Festival, and the Lantern Festival to create a unique “Five Festivals Celebration” brand for the New Year of the Belt and Road. This initiative aims to integrate Eastern and Western festive cultures, foster inclusivity, and has gained widespread international attention and participation.

Since the opening of the 12th International Day of the Belt and Road (Silkworm God Day) and the global Chinatown New Year celebrations, the cultural charm of Western traditions such as Christmas and New Year’s Day has been on full display. With the Lunar New Year approaching, “Happy Chinese New Year” and Chinatown New Year of the Belt and Road events are being held worldwide, highlighting the profound richness of Chinese culture. Chairman Chen stated that the Belt and Road Initiative and traditional Chinese Spring Festival culture complement each other as vital bridges for people-to-people connectivity and civilizational exchange. He expressed hope to further enhance the festive atmosphere of the “Five Festivals Celebration,” strengthen cultural ties, and present a feast of cultural inclusivity and mutual learning for people around the world. During the Spring Festival period, Mr. Chen will also visit several Global South countries to extend greetings for local “Happy Chinese New Year” and Chinatown New Year of the Belt and Road activities.

Mr. Chen noted that the Myanmar Chinese community Spring Festival gala is not only an important platform for overseas Chinese to express nostalgia for their homeland, but also a bridge for deepening cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between China and Myanmar. He highly praised the event’s contribution to showcasing the charm of traditional Chinese culture and promoting cultural diversity, pointing out that cultural cooperation is a key component of the Belt and Road Initiative. He looks forward to more such activities in the future, which will advance deeper cooperation between China and Myanmar, as well as between China and countries worldwide, in cultural, economic, and trade fields, jointly writing a new chapter in building a community with a shared future for mankind.
