Global Chinatowns Celebrate the New Year of the Belt and Road: Chairman Chen Entian Presents Silk Spring Festival Couplets to International Friends

世界和平丝带组织纽约秘书处消息，“一带一路”国际日.天蚕节暨全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年活动开幕42天，组委会举办了题为《“一带一路”迎新年，丝绸春联联世界》的专题活动。

New York Secretariat of the World Peace Ribbon Organization news, Forty-two days into the opening of the International Day of the Belt and Road, Silkworm God Day and the global Chinatown event marking the New Year of the Belt and Road, the organizing committee hosted a special event themed *New Year of the Belt and Road, Silk Spring Festival Couplets Link the World*.

世界和平丝带组织领导人、组委会主席陈恩田在活动中向多位国际友人赠送了由北京军赋书画院精心制作的中华国粹——“丝绸春联”。他表示，“丝绸春联”融合中华丝绸工艺与传统书法艺术，是中华文化走向世界的生动载体。

Chen Entian, leader of the World Peace Ribbon Organization and Chairman of the event's organizing committee, presented silk spring festival couplets – a quintessence of Chinese culture exquisitely crafted by the Beijing Junfu Academy of Calligraphy and Painting – to a number of international friends at the event. He noted that silk spring festival couplets, an integration of sophisticated Chinese silk craftsmanship and traditional calligraphy art, stand as a vivid carrier for Chinese culture to expand its global reach.

陈恩田进一步宣布，为感谢世界各国人民对中华传统文化的喜爱与支持，组委会准备了一亿幅“丝绸春联”，旨在推动中华传统文化走进全球千家万户。他期待“丝绸春联”成为友谊的纽带，绽放文化交流之花，为“一带一路”沿线民间交流增添亮丽色彩。

Chen further announced that to express gratitude for the love and support from people of all countries for traditional Chinese culture, the organizing committee has prepared 100 million silk spring festival couplets, aiming to bring traditional Chinese culture into households across the globe. He expressed the hope that these silk spring festival couplets will serve as a bond of friendship, foster the bloom of cultural exchanges, and add a brilliant touch to people-to-people exchanges along the routes of the Belt and Road International Cooperation Initiative.

此次活动进一步彰显了“一带一路”倡议下民心相通、文化相融的理念，也为第十二届“一带一路”国际日.天蚕节暨全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年活动注入了浓厚的文化温情与国际氛围。

This event has further highlighted the philosophy of people-to-people connectivity and cultural integration under the Belt and Road International Cooperation Initiative. It has also imbued the 12th International Day of the Belt and Road, Silkworm God Day and the global Chinatown event for the New Year of the Belt and Road with a strong atmosphere of cultural warmth and international inclusiveness.
