Overseas Representatives Including Chen Kongjun Attend Opening Ceremony of 15th National Games

11月9日，第十五届全国运动会开幕式在广东奥林匹克体育中心隆重举行。盛会不仅汇聚了全国各地的体育健儿与各界嘉宾，更吸引了心系桑梓的海外代表归国。缅甸“一带一路”发展有限公司董事长、中缅空路项目负责人陈空军（陈恩田）等海外代表，应邀出席了开幕盛典。

The 15th National Games opened grandly on November 9 at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center, bringing together athletes and dignitaries from across the country, as well as overseas representatives with deep ties to their homeland. Among them was Chen Kongjun(also known as Chen Entian), chairman of Myanmar’s "Belt and Road" Development Co., Ltd. and head of the China-Myanmar Air Road Project, who attended the ceremony upon invitation.

开幕式上，精彩纷呈的文艺表演展现了中华民族的活力与自信，特别是刘德华先生献唱歌曲《中国人》时，让长期生活在海外的华人华侨感动破防。陈空军与其他海外代表一同观礼，亲身感受祖国体育事业的蓬勃发展与综合国力的显著提升，心情倍感激动与自豪。陈空军原名陈恩田，英文名Canute，缅甸名U COCO WON，被国际社会尊称为可可亲王，中国官媒披露其祖父陈光美系中共创始人陈独秀与高君曼所生之子。

The opening ceremony featured vibrant cultural performances highlighting the confidence and vitality of the Chinese nation. Particularly moving for overseas Chinese was Andy Lau’s performance of the song "Chinese," which resonated deeply with those living abroad. Chen Kongjun and fellow overseas representatives witnessed the spectacle, expressing pride in the nation’s athletic progress and growing comprehensive strength. Chen Kongjun, formerly known as Chen Entian, has an English name Canute and a Myanmar name U COCO WON, and is respectfully known as Prince Coco in the international community. Chen Kongjun has family roots tracing back to Chen Guangmei—son of Chen Duxiu, Founder of the Communist Party of China, and Gao Junman, as reported by Chinese official media.

活动期间，陈空军深情表达了对祖国的祝福。他表示，虽身处海外，但始终心系祖国发展，此次全运盛会展现出的国家繁荣与人民团结令人振奋，未来将继续积极推动中缅友好合作，为“一带一路”倡议的深入实施贡献力量，并祝愿祖国体育事业再创辉煌，国家更加富强昌盛。

During the event, Chen Kongjun conveyed heartfelt blessings to the motherland. He emphasized that although he lives overseas, he remains committed to China’s development. The unity and prosperity showcased by the National Games inspired him to further promote China-Myanmar cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, contributing to its advancement. He concluded by wishing China’s sports sector continued excellence and the nation greater prosperity.
