今年是“一带一路”国际合作倡议提出十周年，也是“一带一路”国际日诞辰十周年，上个月的10月17日，第三届一带一路国际合作高峰论坛在北京成功举办，下个月的12月16日，世界将迎来第十届“一带一路”国际日，在这个承前启后的良辰吉日，世界舜裔宗亲联谊会在“晋江经验”的发源地举行以弘扬孝善美德，共建“一带一路”为主题的第二十七届国际大会，影响深远，意义重大。

二十多年前，习近平总书记提出“晋江经验”，并且延伸出“晋江精神”，十年前，习近平总书记提出“一带一路”国际合作倡议，不仅受到了世界各国政府的积极响应，也受到了世界舜裔宗亲等全球华人华侨的大力支持。2013年12月16日，星云大师前往南方丝绸之路云南大学庆来堂举行佛学开示《看见梦想的力量》，从中文来看，1216与“一带一路”对应谐音，可谓天作之合。受星云大师德慧启迪，我与联合国原副秘书长冀朝铸，提议将星云大师响应“一带一路”倡议的12月16日确定为第一个国际民间纪念和宣传“一带一路”倡议的国际日。

In Chinese, 1216 is homophonic to the "Belt and Road", which is a perfect match. Inspired by the virtue and wisdom of Master Xingyun, I and the former Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, Ji Chaozhu, proposed that December 16, when Master Xingyun responded to the "Belt and Road" Initiative, be designated as the first international day for people to commemorate and promote the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
此后，在第八届联合国秘书长潘基文、联合国教科文组织前总干事博科娃等国际友人的支持下，我们最终以“和平的一带一路”为旗帜，依托联合国创办世界和平丝带组织，提出五合一世界和平主张，宣布将每年12月16日确定为“一带一路”国际日，这一天的前夜，也就是12月15日晚被确定为“和平夜”，我们还建议“一带一路”沿线国家在这一天免过路过桥费或放假半天。

十年来，在世界舜裔宗亲及全球华人华侨的大力支持下，在国际民间文艺代表的积极参与下，“一带一路”国际日已经在全球人民心中生根发芽，成为“一带一路”文化建设的有力补充，无论是共建一带一路的成果，还是一带一路国际日的普及成功，离不开世界舜裔宗亲及全球华人华侨的大力支持。我真诚地希望，世界舜裔宗亲把自己的事业发展好，把自己的身体爱护好，把自己的家庭照顾好，同时也为共建一带一路，促进世界和平，继续贡献力量。如果在座诸位宗亲支持，世界和平丝带组织可以把一带一路国际民间合作项目库落地晋江，形成产业园区。

当下世界局势不容乐观，“一带一路”沿线国家也不太平，战争冲突及各种纷争彼伏此起。今年的“一带一路”国际日和平夜，也就是12月15日晚，全球各地寺庙、广场将举办“点亮和平灯，照耀一带一路”的活动，希望美丽的晋江也不缺席，希望舜帝纪念堂也为“一带一路”沿线国家和人民点亮和平灯，希望“晋江经验”可以为一带一路国际合作，以及世界和平贡献“晋江智慧”。
