仰光当地时间2025年12月16日，第十二届“一带一路”国际日.天蚕节开启“一带一路”迎新年，缅甸仰光地标建筑大金塔再次迎来一年一度的点灯祈福祈寿活动。活动得到了“一带一路”国际日组委会与缅甸艺术与文化发展协会指导，大量外国游客与当地民众纷纷前往点灯。

Yangon, Myanmar - On December 16, 2025 (Yangon local time), the 12th Belt and Road International Day · Silkworm God's Day kicked off the "Belt and Road New Year Celebration Month". Yangon's landmark Shwedagon Pagoda once again hosted the annual lighting ceremony for prayers of peace, prosperity and longevity. Guided by the Organizing Committee of the Belt and Road International Day and the Myanmar Arts and Culture Association, the event attracted a large number of foreign tourists and local residents who came to light lamps.

点灯仪式于12月15日“天蚕节和平夜”拉开帷幕，组委会建议活动延续至农历元宵节结束。大金塔在万千盏佛灯的映照下金碧辉煌，现场气氛祥和庄严。“一带一路”国际日组委会与缅甸艺术与文化发展协会代表Mingshan、Lili Myint等出席点灯仪式，与民众一同祈愿和平、繁荣与安康。

The lighting ceremony opened on the "Silkworm God's Day Peace Night" of December 15, and the organizing committee suggested extending the event until the Lantern Festival of the lunar calendar. Bathed in the glow of thousands of Buddhist lamps, the Shwedagon Pagoda shone resplendent in gold, creating a serene and solemn atmosphere at the venue. Representatives from the Organizing Committee of the Belt and Road International Day and the Myanmar Arts and Culture Association, including Mingshan and Lili Myint, attended the lighting ceremony and prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being together with the public.

“一带一路”国际日开启了“一带一路”迎新年节庆月，包括天蚕节、圣诞节、元旦节、春节、元宵节。将此次活动不仅是一场传统文化与佛教祈福盛事，更是“一带一路”框架下人文交流与民心相通的生动体现。它借助共同的节日载体，促进了文化互鉴，深化了友好情谊，展现了“和平、发展、合作、共赢”的精神内涵。

The Belt and Road International Day has inaugurated the "Belt and Road New Year Celebration Month", which includes Silkworm God's Day, Christmas, New Year's Day, Spring Festival and Lantern Festival. This event is not only a grand occasion of traditional culture and Buddhist prayer, but also a vivid embodiment of people-to-people exchanges and mutual understanding under the framework of the Belt and Road International Cooperation Initiative. By virtue of the common festival carrier, it has promoted cultural mutual learning, deepened friendly ties, and demonstrated the spiritual connotation of "peace, development, cooperation and win-win results".
