SSCO Chairman Chen Entian Attends Seminar on China-Laos Railway
南合之光消息，香港当地时间2024年9月13日，“一带一路”铁路论坛在香港举行，世界和平丝带组织南方丝绸之路国际合作委员会（简称南合组织）主席、南方丝绸之路总商会主席、南洋陈氏宗亲总会联席理事长陈恩田致信祝贺，并以视频方式出席了中老铁路研讨会。
The Light of SSCO News, Hong Kong local time on September 13, 2024, the “Belt and Road” Railway Forum was held in Hong Kong. Chen Entian, Chairman of the Southern Silk Road International Cooperation Committee(SSCO) of World Peace Ribbon Organization, Chairman of the Southern Silk Road Chamber of Commerce, and Co-Chairman of the Association of South Ocean Chen(Tan) Clan, sent a letter of congratulations and attended the China-Laos Railway Seminar by video.
“一带一路”铁路论坛聚集了近280位共建“一带一路”国家和地区的政府官员、铁路专才及行业领袖等，探讨公共交通如何有助建设和推动地区发展。主办单位港铁公司主席欧阳伯权出席致辞，香港特区政府运输及物流局署理局长廖振新等发表主题演讲。
“The Belt and Road Railway Forum brought together nearly 280 government officials, railroad professionals and industry leaders from countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative to discuss how public transportation can help build and promote regional development. Mr. Rex Auyeung , Chairman of the MTR Corporation, delivered a speech. The Under Secretary for Transport and Logistics of the HKSAR Government, Mr LIU Chun San, delivered a keynote speech.
中老铁路研讨会重点关注了中老铁路开通三年来，为中老两国及南方丝绸之路沿线国家经贸文旅带来的积极效应。中老铁路已累计开行列车5.6万列，旅客超3800万人次，吸引了来自全球100个国家和地区的旅客，研讨会还播放了弟子行天献给师父可可亲王的新歌《中老铁路情》。
The seminar on the China-Laos Railway focused on the positive effects brought by the opening of the China-Laos Railway in the past three years for the economic, trade, cultural and tourism of China and Laos and the countries along the Southern Silk Road. The China-Laos Railway has carried out a total of 56,000 train trips and transported more than 38 million passengers, attracted travelers from 100 countries and regions around the world. The seminar also played a new song “China-Laos Railway Love” dedicated by disciple Xingtian to his master Prince Coco.
