Chen Entian Inspects 12th Belt and Road International Day and Macao Workstation for "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations

2025年12月23日，第十二届“一带一路”国际日.天蚕节暨全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年开幕第七天，陈恩田离开新加坡抵达澳门考察“一带一路”迎新年节庆情况，会见了“一带一路”迎新年澳门工作站青年学生志愿者，感谢青年学生志愿者们为“一带一路”国际日.天蚕节暨“一带一路”迎新年在澳门生根发芽作出的贡献。

December 23, 2025 marks the seventh day of the opening of the 12th Belt and Road International Day · Silkworm God's Day and the global Chinatown "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations. Chen Entian left Singapore and arrived in Macao to inspect the development of the "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations. He met with young student volunteers from the Macao Workstation for the "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations, expressing gratitude for their contributions to the rooting and growth of the Belt and Road International Day · Silkworm God's Day and the "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations in Macao.

“一带一路”迎新年以“一带一路”国际日.天蚕节为引领，联动圣诞节、元旦节、春节、元宵节等五节共庆，促进跨文明交流及东西方节庆文化融合。陈恩田重点考察了节庆活动的组织与氛围营造工作，对志愿者们无私奉献、热情服务的精神表示高度赞赏，感谢他们为“一带一路”国际日暨“一带一路”迎新年付出的辛勤努力，勉励青年一代继续发挥桥梁作用，传承丝路精神。

Guided by the Belt and Road International Day · Silkworm God's Day, the "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations link five festivals including Christmas, New Year's Day, Spring Festival and Lantern Festival for joint celebrations, promoting cross-civilization exchanges and the integration of Eastern and Western festival cultures. Chen Entian focused on inspecting the organization of the festival activities and the creation of the atmosphere. He highly praised the volunteers for their selfless dedication and enthusiastic service, thanked them for their hard work in the Belt and Road International Day and the "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations, and encouraged the younger generation to continue to play a bridging role and inherit the Silk Road spirit.

在澳门期间，陈恩田还与全国政协文化文史和学习委员会副主任、澳门基金会行政委员会主席吴志良等澳门社会重要人士会面。陈恩田指出，澳门民间社会充分发挥其东西方文化包容互鉴的独特平台优势，在“一带一路”国际合作的时代背景下积极作为、开拓创新，为传承延续古代蚕桑文明和弘扬古丝绸之路精神作出了重要贡献。

During his stay in Macao, Chen Entian also met with important figures in Macao society such as Wu Zhiliang, Deputy Director of the Culture, History and Learning Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Macao Foundation. Chen Entian pointed out that Macao's civil society has given full play to its unique platform advantage of inclusive mutual learning between Eastern and Western cultures, and has actively acted and innovated under the background of the Belt and Road International Cooperation Initiative, making important contributions to inheriting and continuing the ancient sericulture civilization and promoting the spirit of the ancient Silk Road.

陈恩田特别提到，在第十二届“一带一路”国际日暨全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年之际，澳门特区政府成功举办首届文明互鉴国际论坛，成果丰硕、意义深远，为本届“一带一路”迎新年澳门站活动拉开了精彩序幕。他认为，澳门的实践充分展现了中华文化的开放包容，以及其在促进“一带一路”民心相通、文明对话方面的独特价值。

Chen Entian particularly mentioned that on the occasion of the 12th Belt and Road International Day and the global Chinatown "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations, the Macao Special Administrative Region Government successfully held the first International Forum on Mutual Learning Among Civilizations, which yielded fruitful results and had far-reaching significance, opening a wonderful prelude to the Macao Station activities of this year's "Belt and Road" New Year Celebrations. He believed that Macao's practice has fully demonstrated the openness and inclusiveness of Chinese culture, as well as its unique value in promoting people-to-people bonds and civilizational dialogue under the Belt and Road Initiative.
