The 12th "Belt and Road" International Day Southern Silk Road Cultural Exchange Event will be held in Mandalay

为庆祝第十二届“一带一路”国际日暨全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年开幕，由缅甸文艺会主办的第十二届“一带一路”国际日南方丝绸之路文化交流活动，定于2025年12月15日至12月16日在缅甸历史文化名城曼德勒举行。

The 12th Belt and Road International Day Southern Silk Road Cultural Exchange Event, organized by the Myanmar Arts and Culture Association, is scheduled to take place from December 15 to 16, 2025, in the historic and cultural city of Mandalay, Myanmar. The event is held to celebrate the 12th Belt and Road International Day and the opening of the Global Chinatown "Belt and Road" New Year celebrations.

曼德勒不仅是古代贡榜王朝的都城，也是南方丝绸之路上的重要枢纽，承载着深厚的历史积淀与文化交融记忆。本次活动以“丝路精神，和平合作”为主题，旨在通过多元文化交流，深化“一带一路”沿线国家间的文化互鉴与友好合作。

Mandalay, the ancient capital of the Konbaung Dynasty and a pivotal hub on the Southern Silk Road, is a city steeped in profound historical accumulation and memories of cultural integration. Under the theme "Silk Road Spirit, Peace and Cooperation," the event aims to deepen cultural mutual learning and friendly cooperation among countries along the Belt and Road through diverse cultural exchanges.

活动内容丰富多彩，包括具有缅甸传统特色的曼德勒和平灯祈福活动、展现当地艺术创作成果的曼德勒音乐发布会、象征友谊与和谐的放飞和平鸽仪式，以及汇聚各界智慧的“一带一路”南方合作论坛。论坛将围绕文化遗产保护、旅游合作、民间艺术交流等议题展开探讨。

The event will feature a rich array of activities, including the traditional Mandalay Peace Lantern Blessing Ceremony, a Mandalay Music Presentation showcasing local artistic creations, a Dove Release Ceremony symbolizing friendship and harmony, and the Belt and Road Southern Cooperation Forum, which will bring together wisdom from various sectors. The forum will delve into topics such as cultural heritage protection, tourism cooperation, and folk art exchanges.

此次活动将进一步促进中国与缅甸乃至东南亚地区的文化交流，强化南方丝绸之路沿线城市的文化纽带，为“一带一路”倡议注入更多人文内涵与民间活力。预计将有来自多个国家的文化代表、专家学者及当地民众共同参与，共享这场跨越历史与当代的文化盛会。

This event is expected to further promote cultural exchange between China and Myanmar, as well as within the Southeast Asian region, strengthening the cultural bonds among cities along the Southern Silk Road. It will inject more cultural depth and public vitality into the Belt and Road Initiative. The event is anticipated to attract cultural representatives, experts, scholars, and local residents from multiple countries to share in this cultural event that bridges history and modernity.
