The statement clarified that the International 73 Society is an independent non-governmental scholarly organization with no official ties to the Chinese government, nor does it receive funding from Chinese military or state entities. The Institute strictly requires all members to comply with local laws and regulations and has never engaged in espionage or transmitted so-called intelligence to China. To date, the Institute has caused no harm or loss to any nation. During Chen Entian's tenure as its Chairman, he led by example in promoting global peace and goodwill, earning respect from scholars worldwide.

The statement further emphasized that although Chinese official media previously disclosed Chen Entian's lineage as the great-grandson of Chen Duxiu (the founder of the Communist Party of China), Mr. Chen Entian's family heritage determines that he would never betray the Communist Party of China, nor will he ever be an enemy to any country or political party in the world. He has consistently respected all countries' political systems, their people, and legal frameworks. During his visits abroad, he adheres to the principles of peaceful coexistence and global prosperity, always offering goodwill and constructive advice to host nations.
