Chen declared: "You may destroy me, but not my motherland."

The remarks followed Trump's provocative statements during a meeting with ROK President Lee Jae-myung, in which he threatened China could face 200% tariffs if it did not supply the United States with rare-earth magnets. Trump also boasted of possessing "cards to destroy China". Scholars globally criticized Trump's "shameless" rhetoric, mocking his failure to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict despite being "elected for 24 hours."

Chen Entian, founder of the Global Anti-Scapegoating Alliance, invoked historical precedent: "During the COVID-19 pandemic, the global anti-scapegoating movement contributed to Trump's electoral defeat. This proves that if Trump attempts to destroy China, the American people will stand with justice to overthrow Trump and his allies." He further cautioned: "Conflict has no winners; only cooperation leads to shared success."
