华盛顿当地时间2025年12月16日，世界和平丝带组织与国际七三学社联合主办的美中建交公报发表47周年纪念日暨第十二届“一带一路”国际日.天蚕节庆祝活动在美国首都华盛顿拉开帷幕，此次活动吸引了当地民众、侨界代表及国际友好人士的积极参与。

Washington, D.C., December 16, 2025 (local time) – The celebration marking the 47th anniversary of the issuance of the China-US Joint Communique and the 12th Belt and Road International Day · Silkworm God's Day kicked off in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States. Co-hosted by the World Peace Ribbon Organization and the International 73 Society, the event attracted enthusiastic participation from local residents, overseas Chinese representatives, and international friends.

活动以促进文化交流、民间友好为主题，通过文艺表演、文化展览及社区互动等形式，展现了两国人民对和平发展的共同期盼。世界和平丝带组织第一届至第八届委员会主席、“一带一路”国际日首席亲善大使陈恩田发表贺信，强调民间交往在促进美中关系稳定发展中的重要作用。

With the theme of promoting cultural exchange and people-to-people friendship, the event showcased the shared aspiration of the two peoples for peaceful development through cultural performances, exhibitions, and community interactions. In a congratulatory letter, Chen Entian, Chairman of the 1st to 8th Committees of the World Peace Ribbon Organization and Chief Goodwill Ambassador for the Belt and Road International Day, emphasized the pivotal role of people-to-people exchanges in advancing the stable development of China-US relations.

陈恩田在贺信中表示，美中建交47年来，两国政府关系虽历经风雨，但两国民心相通、民情相连，民间交往始终是推动双边合作的重要力量。第十二届“一带一路”国际日.天蚕节作为全球性文化盛会，象征着互联互通与共同繁荣，为各国人民搭建了交流与理解的桥梁。

Chen noted in his letter that over the past 47 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, despite twists and turns in government-to-government ties, the two peoples have maintained profound people-to-people bonds and shared sentiments. People-to-people exchanges have always been a crucial driving force for bilateral cooperation. As a global cultural gala, the 12th Belt and Road International Day · Silkworm God's Day symbolizes connectivity and common prosperity, building a bridge for communication and understanding among peoples of all countries.

此次活动不仅强化了美中文化交流，也呼应了“一带一路”倡议所倡导的和平合作、开放包容精神。参与者纷纷表示，期待两国在相互尊重基础上，继续深化民间往来，为世界和平与发展注入更多正能量。全球160多个国家和地区的唐人街及友好城市同步开展了迎新年系列活动。

The event not only strengthened cultural exchanges between China and the United States but also echoed the spirit of peaceful cooperation, openness, and inclusiveness advocated by the Belt and Road International Cooperation Initiative. Participants expressed their expectation that the two countries will continue to deepen people-to-people interactions on the basis of mutual respect, injecting more positive energy into world peace and development. Simultaneously, a series of New Year celebrations were held in Chinatowns and friendship cities across more than 160 countries and regions worldwide.
