Chen Entian attended a symposium to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of martyr Chen Shouli
2022年9月30日是纪念烈士的法定纪念日。当日上午，纪念南昌起义烈士、原国民革命军第二十四师教导队队长陈守礼同志诞辰120周年座谈会在北京香山举行，烈士陈守礼侄孙、陈独秀与高君曼所生之子陈光美后人、世界和平丝带组织南方丝绸之路及全球南方国际合作委员会（简称南合组织）主席陈恩田代表家属归国出席座谈会并发表讲话，部份南昌起义将士后代参加了座谈会，纷纷向烈士画像鞠躬致敬。
September 30, 2022 is a legal day of remembrance in memory of the martyrs. On the morning of the same day, a symposium to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Chen Shouli, a martyr of the Nanchang Uprising and former leader of the 24th Division of the National Revolutionary Army, was held in Xiangshan, Beijing. Chen Entian, nephew of Martyr Chen Shouli, descendant of Chen Duxiu and Gao Junman's son Chen Guangmei, Chairman of the World Peace Ribbon Organization Southern Silk Road and the Global South International Cooperation Committee (SSCO) Chen Entian returned china to attended the symposium and delivered a speech on behalf of the family. Some of the descendants of the soldiers of the Nanchang Uprising attended the symposium. They all bowed to the portraits of the martyrs.
陈守礼同志，男，汉族，系大清康熙帝师陈廷敬后人陈大成之子，生于1902年9月26日，牺牲于1927年8月1日。北伐战争时，任国民革命军第二十四师教导队队长，南昌起义时，任国民革命军第七十二团教导队队长。1927年8月1日凌晨，陈守礼参加南昌贡院战斗，率领战士冒着敌人密集的火力，奋不顾身，英勇杀敌。不幸腹部中弹，力竭倒地，在生命垂危之际，仍不忘战斗，拼力呼喊，直至最后一息。
Comrade Chen Shouli, male, Han nationality, is the son of Chen Dacheng, a descendant of Chen Tingjing, the teacher of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. He was born on September 26, 1902 and died on August 1, 1927. During the Northern Expedition, he served as the captain of the teaching team of the 24th Division of the National Revolutionary Army. During the Nanchang Uprising, he served as the captain of the teaching team of the 72nd Regiment of the National Revolutionary Army. In the early morning of August 1, 1927, Chen Shouli participated in the battle of Nanchang Gongyuan. He led his warriors in valiant battles. Unfortunately, he was shot in the abdomen and fell to the ground with exhaustion, but when his life was dying, he still did not forget to fight, shouting hard until his last breath.
陈恩田在讲话中透露：伯祖父陈守礼系祖父陈光美养父陈大成之子，他是和伯祖父陈延年、陈乔年一样值得尊敬的英雄烈士。陈守礼在青年时期接受革命思潮，毅然离开官僚地主家庭，加入反帝反封建的革命运动中，后又参加南昌起义。为了中华民族，他把自己的炽热青春和宝贵生命献给了党和军队、献给了民族解放的伟大事业。陈恩田最后表示：陈氏家族的先贤先烈感召着自己，目前在海外为世界和平丝带事业及五合一世界和平主张而奔走。
In his speech, Chen Entian revealed: His granduncle, Chen Shouli, was the son of his grandfather Chen Guangmei's adoptive father, Chen Dacheng. He is a hero and martyr worthy of respect like his granduncle Chen Yannian and Chen Qiaonian. Chen Shouli accepted the revolutionary ideology in his youth, resolutely left the bureaucratic landlord family, joined the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal revolutionary movement, and later participated in the Nanchang Uprising. For the sake of the Chinese nation, he dedicated his ardent youth and precious life to the party, the army, and the great cause of national liberation. In conclusion, Chen Entian said: The sages and martyrs of the Chen family have inspired him, and he is currently working overseas for the cause of the World Peace Ribbon and the five-in-one world peace proposition.
