岁月不居，时节如流。值此2026年元旦之际，我谨以第十二届“一带一路”国际日暨全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年组委会主席，以及世界和平丝带组织首席亲善大使之名义，向你们及家人致以最诚挚的问候与最衷心的祝福！
Time marches on relentlessly, and seasons change in the blink of an eye. On the occasion of the 2026 New Year's Day, on behalf of my dual capacities as Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 12th Belt and Road International Day and the Global Chinatown "Belt and Road" New Year Celebration, as well as Chief Goodwill Ambassador of the World Peace Ribbon Organization, I extend my sincerest greetings and heartfelt wishes to you and your families!
古府潮州，这座屹立于南海之滨的美食之都，自古便是海上丝绸之路的重要枢纽。潮籍儿女秉承“勇闯敢为、守信重义”的精神，扬帆出海、扎根五洲，在全球书写了无数奋斗与奉献的传奇。无论是昔年“下南洋”的艰辛开拓，还是今日纵横商界、文化、科技各领域的卓越成就，潮人足迹所至，皆成桥梁；潮人事业所立，皆为纽带。遍布世界的潮州会馆，不仅承载着乡情与文化，更见证着你们为传播中华文明、促进当地发展、深化中外交流所付出的心血与智慧。
The ancient city of Chaozhou, a renowned culinary capital nestled on the shores of the South China Sea, has long been a vital hub along the Maritime Silk Road. Embodying the spirit of courage, perseverance, integrity and righteousness, descendants of Teochew have sailed across the seas to settle down across the five continents, writing countless legends of hard work and dedication around the globe. Whether it was the arduous journey to Southeast Asia in years gone by, or the remarkable achievements made today in business, culture, science and technology and other fields, wherever Teochew people set foot, they have built bridges for communication; whatever undertakings Teochew people have launched, they have served as ties for connection. The Teochew Guild Halls spread across the world not only carry the nostalgia and culture of our hometown, but also bear witness to the efforts and wisdom you have devoted to spreading Chinese civilization, promoting local development and deepening China-foreign exchanges.
2013年以来，在世界格局深刻演变、人类命运休戚与共的时代背景下，“一带一路”倡议顺应和平、发展、合作、共赢的潮流，为各国携手共进开辟了广阔前景。全球潮籍华侨华人顺时应势，以其深厚的国际视野、广泛的商业网络、融通中外的独特优势，积极投身于共建“一带一路”的伟大实践，在促进经贸互通、人文交流、民心相通等方面发挥了不可替代的作用。潮籍华侨华人不仅是故乡的骄傲，更是推动“一带一路”高质量发展的重要力量。
Since 2013, against the backdrop of profound changes in the world pattern and the interconnectedness of human destiny, the Belt and Road International Cooperation Initiative has complied with the trend of peace, development, cooperation and mutual benefit, opening up broad prospects for countries to march forward hand in hand. Overseas Chinese of Teochew origin around the world have followed the trend of the times, and with their profound international vision, extensive business networks and unique advantages of integrating Chinese and foreign cultures, they have actively participated in the great practice of jointly building the Belt and Road. They have played an irreplaceable role in advancing economic and trade connectivity, cultural exchanges and people-to-people bonds. Overseas Chinese of Teochew origin are not only the pride of their hometown, but also an important force driving the high-quality development of the Belt and Road.
很多年前，世界和平丝带组织在泰国潮州会馆举行“一带一路”国际日蓝皮书发布会，得到了泰国潮籍侨领大力支持。历届“一带一路”国际日·天蚕节暨全球唐人街“一带一路”迎新年系列活动中，全球潮籍华侨华人展现出令人赞叹的凝聚力与行动力，你们以极大的热情参与组织、宣传、联络与支持，让这一弘扬和平友谊、促进文明互鉴的节日活动，在全球多地绽放光彩，进一步提升了“一带一路”倡议的国际认同与民间热度。
Many years ago, the World Peace Ribbon Organization held the launch ceremony of the Blue Book of the Belt and Road International Day at the Thailand Teochew Guild Hall, which received strong support from Teochew overseas Chinese leaders in Thailand. In the previous series of events including the Belt and Road International Day · Silkworm God's Day and the Global Chinatown "Belt and Road" New Year Celebration, overseas Chinese of Teochew origin worldwide have demonstrated impressive cohesion and executive power. With great enthusiasm, you have participated in the organization, publicity, liaison and support work, making this festive event that promotes peace and friendship and enhances cultural mutual learning shine in many parts of the world, and further elevating the international recognition and grassroots popularity of the Belt and Road Initiative.
几天前，中华全国归国华侨联合会、澳门归侨总会举办第三届华侨华人助力“一带一路”高质量发展大会。全球潮籍华侨华人积极参与，为“一带一路”迎新年书写了浓墨重彩的一笔，在此谨向你们表示最真诚的祝贺和最衷心的祝福！
A few days ago, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Macao Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese hosted the 3rd Conference of Overseas Chinese Supporting the High-quality Development of the Belt and Road. Overseas Chinese of Teochew origin around the world took an active part in the conference, writing a brilliant chapter for the "Belt and Road" New Year Celebration. Hereby, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and heartfelt wishes to all of you!
展望未来，共建“一带一路”前景光明，但亦需应对诸多挑战。世界和平丝带组织将继续坚定不移地推进以和平、发展、合作、共赢为核心的“一带一路”事业，持续办好“一带一路”国际日.天蚕节等相关活动。我们期待并坚信，全球潮籍华侨华人必将一如既往，发挥其融通世界的独特优势，在抵制一切有损国际公平正义与和平发展的言行同时，更主动地把握时代机遇，勇立潮头，携手各方，为高质量共建“一带一路”、增进各国人民福祉、推动构建人类命运共同体贡献更大的“潮人力量”。
Looking forward to the future, the prospects of jointly building the Belt and Road are bright, yet we still need to address numerous challenges. The World Peace Ribbon Organization will continue to unswervingly advance the cause of the Belt and Road with peace, development, cooperation and mutual benefit at its core, and keep organizing events such as the Belt and Road International Day · Silkworm God's Day. We anticipate and firmly believe that overseas Chinese of Teochew origin around the world will, as always, give play to their unique advantages of integrating into the global community. While opposing all words and deeds that undermine international fairness, justice, peace and development, you will more proactively seize the opportunities of the times, take the lead in the tide, join hands with all parties, and contribute greater "Teochew strength" to the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road, the improvement of the well-being of people of all countries, and the promotion of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
无论身在何方，根脉永在韩江。让我们同心同德，再接再厉，继续将深厚的家国情怀、卓越的奋斗精神，转化为助力民族复兴、促进世界和平与发展的磅礴动力。
No matter where you are, your roots will always be anchored by the Hanjiang River. Let us work with one heart and one mind, make persistent efforts, and continue to transform our profound patriotic feelings and outstanding pioneering spirit into a mighty driving force for supporting national rejuvenation and promoting world peace and development.
